JD Opens New Store at Peel L&P’s Hyndburn Retail Park
The 4,484 square ft. space will provide an enhanced product proposition for consumers and create an additional 40 jobs in the local area.
JD, the leading retailer of sports, fashion and lifestyle brands is set to upscale its presence in Blackburn with the opening of its brand-new store in Peel L&P’s convenient shopping and lifestyle hub, Hyndburn Retail Park - just in time for Christmas.
The new Hyndburn Retail Park space will be JD’s second store in Blackburn. With an average annual footfall of 2.54 million shoppers and easily accessible location via J6 of the M65 motorway off the A6119, the new store at Hyndburn Retail Park will not only be a must-visit store for customers, but also provide an additional 40 new jobs for Blackburn residents.
Re-enforcing its status as the “King of Trainers”, JD will ensure the community and shoppers of Blackburn are provided with their fix of all the biggest brands including Nike, Adidas, The North Face and more. Offerings in the new Hyndburn Retail Park store will boast even more ranges across fashion, footwear and accessories, and allow local residents to get their hands on New Balance Women’s apparel for the first time which is not yet available in the existing Lord Square unit.
The highly sought-after, best-selling classics featured in JD’s 2022 King of the Game Christmas Ad, will also be available in the new store. Items sported by the star-studded cast made up of borderless King of UK Rap Central Cee, King of Boxing Anthony Joshua and King of the Defence Virgin van Dijk are expected to fly off the shelves as shoppers get into the Christmas spirit of giving and get the look of their music, football, sporting and entertainment favourites.
