Next opens new store at Gloucester Retail Park

The new 27,962ft Next store opened its doors on Wednesday 26th March at Gloucester Retail Park, located next to one of the UK’s fastest growing outlet shopping destinations Gloucester Quays.

The store offers ladies, mens, kids and home plus food, drink and stationary from partners Costa and Paperchase.

Director of Development at Peel Land and Property (Peel L&P), Roger Wheeldon said: “This state-of-the-art Next store is certainly impressive, with two mezzanine floors covering 43,000 sq ft, and it was fantastic to see so many people enjoying the store opening. Part of our £14m investment into Gloucester Retail Park and in the city’s regeneration, we look forward to working on further projects to improve shopping and leisure facilities for those who live and work in Gloucester.”

The new store has created around 100 new jobs and includes a balcony overlooking the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal.

Store Manager, Claire Turner said: “We look forward to welcoming customers through the doors in the coming weeks.”
